MONDAY 6.30pm - A steady group run catering for all abilities. The meeting point is the Solent Hotel, Whiteley (meet in car park).

WEDNESDAY 6.45pm - A steady group run catering for all abilities. The meeting point is Crofton Community Centre (meet in the car park).

Our club sessions are lead by qualified England Athletic Leaders in Running Fitness who are supportive and encouraging. Our club aim is not to leave runners behind and so we always have a front runner and a back runner and we always re-group with the front runners' running back past the back runner so we run in a loop. Our club aim is to cater for a wide range of abilities and to be inclusive; as such we have various different groups to suit several running abilities.

Group A Improvers - This group is primarily aimed at people who can run 2/3 miles comfortably and are generally runners who may be returning to running after a short interval or have just started running and want to improve their distance and confidence; the pace will be 10.30 min/mile and over.

Group B Intermediate - This group is aimed at runners who want to improve on their base mileage, speed and endurance making the move up from Group A. Runners who can run anywhere from 10.30 min/mile to 9 min/mile will be catered for in this group.

Group C Advanced Intermediate - This group is aimed at runners who want to focus on improving their pace and making the transition from the previous group and is the ideal group for those looking to improve their times in races. The pace for this group will be between 9 min/miles to 8 min/miles.

Group C+ Advanced - This group is a faster paced group and aimed at runners who want to improve their speed, strength and endurance and are regularly running in races, the pace here is for runners who can run 7.30min/miles and over.

We have a variety of set routes of certain distances with set re-grouping points and the structure of running back is always in place. This ensures that no-one is left behind. Summer sessions and lighter evenings - run with a group suited to your level along a number of planned routes through Whiteley Woods (Monday's). Winter - safe running is assured along planned routes that are well-lit roads & paths.
