To enable the Stubbington 10k race to run smoothly, we are going to need well over 130 volunteers to take on various roles.
Those roles include:- Marshalling, Helpdesk, Kitchen, Baggage, Chip and Number allocation (Sat and Sun), Car Park Team, Set Up crew, Water station points (Mid and finish) and Bike team.
For those volunteering to marshal, 75% of the course is traffic free so most should not have any traffic to deal with. On top of everything you get a front row view of a fantastic 10k road race!
If you would like to volunteer for one of the roles please send your name and contact details to Mark McDonald (Chief Marshal). If you would like further information regarding the event please contact Kevin Ashman (Race Director)
If you are planning to run the Stubbington 10k race, can you please provide a name and contact details to Mark of the person who will be a Marshal on the day on your behalf.
The continued success of our very popular 10k relies on you. If you can help, please contact Mark now.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are marshalling at the Stubbington 10k on 15th January 2017, please ensure you attend the meeting at 7:30pm on Friday 13th January at Crofton Community Centre. It is important that you attend as there will not be time on the day to give out instructions.
